The very clever Dropbox service is making it easier to share the content within your dropbox with the public. Here is how to create and share the dropbox links.
Dropbox is a nice service to share files across computers and through the web. As it has a pretty large free storage area, I suspect more and more people will start using it when shareable public links become popular.
To create shareable links from the desktop, you’ll need access to at least version 0.8.80 or later.
These same directions will work in windows or os x.
1. Right-click on the file you want to share within your Dropbox folder on your computer
2. Select Dropbox
3. Select Get Shareable Link
4. Your browser will open to your link.
You can also find your shareable link within the Dropbox website.
1. Log into dropbox
2. Find the folder/file you wish to share and click the blue arrow that appears when you mouse over that file/folder.
3. Select Get shareable link
4. Your browser will open to your link.
