Upon installing Nero Burning Rom, you will notice that it takes a while for the program to load. To speed this up, use the steps provided in this tutorial.
1. Go to Administrative Tools in the Control Panel.
2. In the Services list, disable the IMAPI CD-Burning COM service.
Note: Manual setting is not enough. It must be disabled.
It is the built-in CD-burning capability for Windows XP.
Once it is disabled, Nero will start up much quicker.
