After you have collected all the information about Erin in the Asylum in Chapter 5, follow this guide to help Garrett meet the Baron and steal another Primal Stone fragment.
Wrapping up the creepy Forsaken chapter, we go looking for the Baron.
Find a Way into the Baron’s Mansion
You start this chapter at the same position where you got the water arrow in the Prologue. There is one guard in this area. Follow him to higher ground, wait for him to go back, and perform a jump to bypass him.
In the next area, you will see many guards patrolling. There is a room under the balcony where you can control the fountain using the wheel. When you have stopped the water from flowing, get out of the room using the hole above the valve, and head west.
Even more guards here will be here; one of them is patrolling. Wait for that guy to turn his back to you, and jump through the balcony to get inside the mansion.
Confront the Baron in His Private Study
Once you get in, go to the second floor. Follow the onscreen indicator to get to the objective. On your way there, there will be several traps. Use your focus ability to identify them and the locations where you can turn them off. This step requires the wire cutter tool.
When you reach the Study Tower, climb up, go through the hole, and use the pipeline to get to the elevator shaft.
There are two spots on the shaft which can be used to climb up to the top floor. As you climb up, you will have to move to the sides in order to get to a higher position.
Enter the Ceremony Room
After you talk with the Baron, you will go down to the Ceremony Room. There will be many guards on high alert mode there. As soon as you open the door, take down the guard who immediately says, “For Orion!” After that, go to the left side, and take down the other guard who is heading to the Ceremony Room. When the second guard is down, turn back, and head to the opposite side of the room where you will see another guard patrolling. This guard will then head to the first floor, so you do not need to kill him. However, this part is crucial because if you do not see this guard, he will spot you later, and all the bad guys will start coming at you. I have learned this the hard way.
Now that the patrolling guard is downstairs, move closer to the guard near the dead body. Wait for him to check the body, and quickly pass him using your special ability.
On your way to the objective, you will see another guard killing someone. Jump on the cabinet, and follow the pipeline to get inside the room. Alternatively, you can sneak behind the guard and get in. However, this method is not recommended because there will be a guard patrolling the room.
In that room, wait for a second guard to come in. He will stay in the room for a few seconds, and then continue his job. After he passes you, jump down, and get to the target location.
Find the Passage to the Baron’s Laboratory
Guide Garrett to the right corner of the room, and press the brick to reveal the path to the Baron’s Laboratory. There are two guards in this room, but you can avoid them easily.
Acquire the Primal Stone Fragment
Go downstairs, pull the lever to activate the rings around the Primal Stone, and go upstairs to the valves.
Use the first valve to position the rings to the specific point where they start shaking.
Use the second one to speed up the rings. When the rings and the glass collide, another crack will be made.
Repeat the steps above until the glass is broken, and then get the stone.
Exit the Sewers and Get across the Bridge
There is an open path at the corner of the sewer; follow it to the objective.
Do not jump into the water because you will die. Instead, walk to the dock, and break the reel so that the boat will move in the water.
Now, you can safely jump onboard to get to the other side. From this point, follow the indicator to complete the mission.
Reach the Cathedral in the Old Quarter
After getting to the next town area from the Stone Market, you will see a woman heading to the main street. This is actually a guard, so do not pass her. If you look up, you will see a bridge and an anchor beam. Use your arrows to bring the bridge down, and climb up using the rope. While you are on the bridge, you will see another bridge above you. Bring it down using the same method.
Next, follow behind the woman and run in to the dark alley on the right side. Find the place where you can climb on, and head to the bridges that we have just pulled down. This is how you can bypass many guards in the area. The picture below was taken when I was on the other side of the street. You will probably start at the beginning of the first arrow.
Since you have passed all the guards safely, jump down to the street, and head to your destination. Next, we start our exploration of The Hidden City.
