Copying and then deleting files is a very inefficient process. This tutorial describes how to move files (copy and delete) all at once within Microsoft Window’s OS.
To move a file is to copy it to a new location and delete the original all at once.
Dragging and dropping by default will copy files to the new location while leaving the original.
To move files, hold the RIGHT-MOUSE button to drag and drop instead of the left mouse button. When you release the mouse button over the target location, a context menu will appear giving you the option to Move Here.
When Move Here is selected, the files will be copied to the new location and deleted from the original location.
