This tech-recipes tutorial describes how to email an Excel workbook to another user. Instructions are included for recipients with or without Excel.
If the receiver has Excel, use the following steps:
Choose File, Send To, Mail Recipient (as Attachment).
Your e-mail program launches with the worksheet as an attachment.
If the receiver does NOT have Excel, use the following steps:
Send the worksheet as the body of the e-mail instead of an attachment.
Choose File, Send To, Mail Recipient.
Finish up, and enter the recipient’s e-mail information. Enter any additional text in the body of the message. Then click Send.
