By default, FeedReader displays a notification for each feed that has new articles. This can be a major distraction, especially if you have subscribed to a large number of feeds. To stop FeedReader from displaying the notifications:
1. Click Tools and select Options.
2. On the General tab, go down to Notifications.
3. Go to the Display notifications dropdown and select Do not display notifications.
4. Click Ok.
