You can change the color of individual worksheet tabs to make specific worksheets easier to find within a larger workbook. For example, you could make a “Sales” tab the color green, an “Expenses” tab the color red, an “Assets” tab the color black, etc. Here is how to accomplish this.
1. Right-click on a Sheet tab at the bottom of your current worksheet.
2. Select Tab color, and select a color from the palette.
3. Click OK.
The active tab will always show a default color with a colored line underneath. The inactive tabs will fully display the colors you have chosen.
