Youtube is one of the biggest video sharing sites on the internet. Since people can upload anything they want, some videos are not be suitable for children. These steps will help keep your childrean safe on Youtube.
1. Go to Youtube and log into your account.
2. Scroll down the bottom and click on Safe mode: Off.
3. Choose On and click on Save and lock Safety Mode on this browser (This will make this lock permanent).
4. Log out of your account and you’re done 🙂
Notes:
Since you have locked the safety mode on your browser, it will be set on forever.
When they try to change the setting, they will see a message like this:
Make sure your children do not know your account’s password so they can’t change the setting.
Note: Safe mode may fail to block contents in some cases. Obviously, no setting can completely replace parental supervision.
