This tech-recipe explains how to remove your T-Mobile Sidekick’s top status bar to obtain true, full-screen web viewing. It also describes how to make the top status bar rounded on the Sidekick’s jump menu.


Remove the Status Bar for Full-screen Web Browsing
Open the Sidekick web browser.

Press these three buttons simultaneously, and let go:
MENU + SHIFT + T

To view the status bar, press the same three buttons simultaneously, and let go.

Rounded Top Status Bar on Jump Menu

At the jump menu, press these three buttons simultaneously, and let go:
MENU + SHIFT + T

To view the original status bar, hold and release the three buttons again.
