To make your Google Reader more visually appealing, enable the display of favicons in the subscription listing. Sometimes it is quicker to recognize a feed by its favicon than it is to read the name.
1. Go to Google Reader and login to your account.
2. There are two methods for enabling favicons:
Using the Settings
a. Go to the upper right corner and click the Settings link.
b. Go to the Misc section at the bottom.
c. Check the Show favicons for subscriptions checkbox.
Using the Subscriptions menu
a. Go to your Subscriptions list on the left side of the page.
b. Click on the arrow next to Subscriptions.
c. Select Use favicons.
