ScribeFire: Disable Powered by ScribeFire

ScribeFire is the new name for the old performancing blog posting extension. Once installed it works very well; however, by default it posts “Powered by ScribeFire” at the end of every post. Very painful. Here is how to turn this off.

I understand why they did it. However, it is just annoying.

1. Click the Open sidebar << option on the top left of the ScribeFire screen.

2. Click Settings button
3. Uncheck Automatically insert ‘Powered by ScribeFire’? under Publishing features

4. Click Editor button to return to the editor
