There are two methods to hard reset your android device. There’s the easy way and the hard way.Â
1st Method:
1.On your Android device, go to settings and tap on backup and reset.
2.Tap on ”factory data reset”.
3. Finally, tap on reset device.
2nd Method:Â The second method is a bit techy, but I’ll guide you through it, the second method simply involves going into what is called ”recovery mode”. Here is how to achieve this.
1.Switch/power off your Android device
2.Wait for about 6 to 8 seconds, then hold your power button and volume up button simultaneously, release the buttons immediately your device logo appears.
3. Use the volume down button to navigate to where you have ”factory reset” select by pressing the power button.
4. Finally, use the volume down to navigate to ‘’Yes— Delete all user data’’ sit back and relax while your device is being reset.
5. Use the volume down button to navigate to ‘’reboot device now’’
