If your wireless router uses MAC filtering, you will need to know the MAC address of your device so that it may connect to the internet. In order to get the MAC address of the Nintendo DS, you will nedd a WFC (Wi-Fi Connection) compatible game or the Nintendo DS Browser.
From a WFC compatible game:
1. Insert the necessary game card.
2. Turn on the Nintendo DS.
3. Start the WFC compatible game.
4. Go to Settings
5. Select Nintendo WFC Setup.
6. Select Options.
7. Select System Information.
8. Your MAC address and your Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection ID will be displayed.
From the Nintendo DS Browser:
1. Insert the Nintendo DS Browser card.
2. Turn on the Nintendo DS.
3. Start the browser.
4. Input your password.
5. Click the Options icon at the bottom of the lower screen (the icon with a wrench on it).
6. Scroll down to the Network section and select Connection.
7. Select Options.
8. Select System Information.
9. Your MAC address and your Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection ID will be displayed.
