With all the intense action going on in BattleField 4, players may not focus on collecting items on the map. This tutorial will show you the location of collectible items in the first mission in the campaign mode, Baku.
BattleField 4 has 35 collectible items. They are dog tag and weapons. Collecting them will unlock trophies and give you new weapons that you can switch to every time you access the weapon crates. Collectibles are hidden in unusual locations across the map so it may take a lot of time to find them all.
How do I identify how many collectible items available in a mission?
While you are in the game, press the Esc button to pause the game. The collectibles information can be found on the right side of the menu.
The collectibles in this tutorial are sorted in time logic order.
Mission One Dog Tags and Weapon Locations
1. Dog Tag: Nice Play
Start the mission, go to the third floor, enter the first room, the dog tag is pinned on the wall on the left side.
2. Weapon: M39 EMR
After you saved Irish, the team will find a way to get out of the school and head to the extraction point. In the big school hall, you will have to clear 2 waves of enemies. Once you have done it, get to the second floor using the broken balcony on the left side, jump through the hole and you will see the M39 EMR in a wooden box.
3. Dog Tag: One Way
After clearing the 2nd wave of enemies, your team will go through a broken wall and jump down a hole. Do not jump into that hole. Instead, follow the tiny concrete path on the left, jump through the locker and you will see the second dog tag. If you have jumped in the hole, you may have to reset the checkpoint to get it because it is not possible to go upstairs anymore.
4. Weapon: MG4
After you have gotten out of the school, and cleared the first enemy wave, you will have the ability to call helicopter support. Clear out all the enemies and head right to the concrete pipes. You will find the MG4 in the first pipe on the hill slope.
5. Weapon: CBJ – MS
When you reach the old factory yard, your team will be attacked by several small enemy waves and RPG, clear them all, then go up the path on the right side. When you see the first girder, jump over the railing to that girder to get the CBJ-MS.
6. Dog Tag: Sergeant Dunn
When your team get to the extraction point on the top of the building, the enemy will destroy your helicopter and the whole factory. The building collapses, and you will fall to the ground. After Irish saves you, Dunn will ask you to cut his leg in order to get out of the concrete rubble. Do not do this task yet. Instead, go to the front of the helicopter from the right side to avoid fire, you will find the last dog tag in the helicopter’s seat.
Once you finish Baku, you will be ready to progress to Mission 2 – Shanghai.
