If you need to rename a style class, you need to follow the correct procedures in order to have the application update all references to that style class. Failing to do that will result in the need to manually update each reference. To rename a style class and update all references to that style, do the following…
1. In Expression Web, open a web page that contains the style class that you wish to rename.
2. In the CSS Properties Task Pane, select the desired style class.
3. Click Rename Class.
4. In the resulting dialog box, enter the new name for the style class in the New Name textbox.
5. Check the checkbox to update the class name in all existing references to the class.
6. Click OK.
