By using Mission Control and gestures you can easily navigate between spaces and by binding apps to spaces, you can use these gestures to switch between open apps.
1. Go to the desired space by using the three-fingered swipe to the left or right on your trackpad or by going to Mission Control and selecting the space.
2. Click and hold on the desired application in the Dock until the contextual menu appears.
3. Mouseover Options. Under Assign To, select This Desktop. If you want the application to be available on all spaces then select All Desktops.
